Cheryl has spent more than 20 years building her career in the legal field. She began working as a receptionist at a law firm, where she was inspired to become a paralegal. Prior to joining Wilkins Law, she has amassed experience in a wide variety of practice areas including insurance defense, construction defect, general civil litigation, commercial litigation and family law, specializing in uncontested adoptions. Cheryl also worked at a leading personal injury law firm, where she gained an understanding of how plaintiffs developed their side of the case and progressed through the legal process. Working for both defense and plaintiff firms, have provided Cheryl with a broad understanding of how both sides navigate the legal process. The breadth of her case work experience has given her the ability to anticipate how cases will progress.
Prior to joining Wilkins Law, Cheryl spent four years as a paralegal for Jardine Baker Hickman & Houston. Cheryl is originally from Ohio where she attended RETS Tech Center and earned her associates degree in paralegal studies. Cheryl loves to travel, read and spend Saturday mornings at the local record stores with her husband expanding their collection of vinyl records.
